You will find these killers and approximately 475 others in this third book in the series of The World Encyclopedia of Serial Killers.The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal.

Fascinating and informative, definitely one to read if you’re interested in serial killers from around the world and also other things like VICAP, Modus Operandi’s, etc. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. It's missing a number of serial killers (especially from other countries but that's to be expected) but overall I'm extremely pleased with this book. Exchanging Valentines can be an awkward process, especially when you consider “Vinegar Valentines” and other snarky sentiments - whatever your tastes, enjoy the sweet and sour cards alike in this gallery!Also, I felt this author was a little egotistical in places, thinking he was right and no-one else is which was a little annoying, and unwarranted. Only about 300 pages are dedicated to the main content, the rest are lengthy index, appendices, etc. The information is presented in such a way that it isn't too boring to read through, but still gives thorough information. Holmes and Richard Chase were not included (especially with the inclusion of some other lesser known murderers with very short entries), but otherwise a very informative edition that also includes entries on different types of serial murder as well as definitions of various terms and FBI agents that are referenced throughout.

The only reason I'm giving it more than one star is because it has a lot of excellent photographs, many of which I've never seen before. Even so, beyond the 240 serial killers the author has chosen to profile in the main body of the book, "The remainder of cases known at this writing are presented in a detailed appendix, further subdivided into sections for solo killers, those who murder with accomplices, and cases presently unsolved. The book is formatted like an encyclopedia but it reads like a collection of short stories on the most sordid of humans.

Defined by the FBI as a person who murders 3 or more people over a period of time with a hiatus of weeks or months between murders, serial killers have walked among us from the dawn of time as these books will demonstrate.The Big Book of Serial Killers is an easy-to-follow collection of information on the world's most heinous murderers. However it was a used book and the description for condition was "very good" this was incorrect as there were ink stains on the book description should have been "good" I loved the book.
