I especially bought this for the song 'Always' as I'd previously liked the music video on YouTube but in fact it's a good CD. You know, I looked at the track listing (above) and recognized about half of the songs (all the old ones, mainly).

A double disc version entitled Greatest Hits – The Ultimate Collection was also released featuring a second disc of fan favorites along with two more new songs: "This Is Love, This Is Life" and "The More Things Change". The standard edition of the album includes 14 of the band's hits and two brand new singles "What Do You Got? By the way…in case you missed the discussion in the Gilby Clarke thread…I’ll be reviewing a Duran Duran side project soon, John Taylor’s Neurotic Outsiders. Was driving in the car with a buddy last weekend and Living On A Prayer was on the satellite radio and he said Sambora’s not in the band anymore? This Ultimate Collection edition includes a second disc featuring beloved fan favorites including "Bed of Roses", "Blood on Blood", "These Days", and "Keep The Faith", plus the third and fourth new tracks created for this project. On the whole, despite the fact that I don’t really like the four new songs, I don’t regret this purchase.

Jon may be the owner of the corporation but back in the 80’s it seemed like a band (as you said) and the music showed it. You know, I was hoping for a proper DVD release with all Bon Jovi videos, but rather there will be a Greatest Hits with 17 videos and 17 live performances. if you haven't already got that cd then you don't like Bon Jovi and if you like Bon Jovi then you already got 14 songs here! but man Jon’s destroyed any credibility I had with em …have not bought anything since Bounce and no need to …. This release will transport listeners back in time through Bon Jovi's worldwide monster hits of the past and offer a bridge to the future with the debut of the four new tracks.Significantly less brickwalled than the older "remastered" CD releases, but still peaking into the red on every song. As a nice contrast the next Bon Jovi review is arguably their best album…I wanted to talk about this band at their best as well! It is a good way to hear tunes like “We Weren’t Born To Follow” without listening to the album it came from, which I wasn’t too keen on.

These songs have stood the test of time and they remind us all where we came from, even as we keep our eyes towards the future. Some user-contributed text on this page is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License; additional terms may apply.
