But I ran a full size fridge, an angle grinder, an air conditioner, a microwave (on medium high setting), and a small pancake air compressor. Note:The battery power inverter max power is 150W, so please make sure that the power of the electrical appliances used should be less than 150W of the rated power of the inverter. This product is a lithium battery inverter, which can convert direct current into alternating current with stable output. I’ve checked 12V and 24V, car inverters and sadly they all have over/under voltage protection that will not work with 18V Makita (that can vary from 20V to as low as 10V). I make a ''GENERAL'' point, and I'm not having a go at you, it is a ''general'' across the board, the ''whole'' question needs be addressed.

I think the line about living in interesting times can certainly apply today, especially when we look at all the various battery uses today and coming.

In my opinion, this all looks great, except for how the power station and inverter looks to essentially require the PDC1200 battery pack. This is probably, because they wanted to squeeze as much Wh as they could, from battery – and did not care about lifetime. Obviously this makes the most sense if you have another use for the PDC1200 battery, which at this stage is targeted mainly at professional landscapers.

My biggest worry is running the makita charger(DC18SD), so I’m goin to be charging through the pure sine wave inverter so utilising 240v at 70w on the nameplate of the charger. When the light is Red, which means it's lack of power; While the light is Green which means it's in normal work. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. This small inverter generator is good for small household items such as lights, small TVs, laptops, fans, USB chargers, etc. Dual USB can charge your two mobile phones at the same time: the inverter socket design can charge your notebook, razor, lights, small fans, etc.

Now, here's the important bit: the small voltage difference between the two doesn't really matter when using a battery adapter. There’s no top handle, but maybe the power supply can be carried single-handedly with one of the side handles, at least until the PDC1200 is attached on top.Given its max Wh is significantly less than this Makita, it would probably only run the table saw for 15 minutes, and overheat or shut off during heavy cutting. There will probably be an XGT battery holder at some point as well, and obviously this would be an easy sell if you were a landscaper who already owns the PDC1200 backpack battery for your mowers.

Edit:- but as my small drill drivers are not used in battery mode anymore I modified the drill body with a plug in lead. With the noise and 2 stroke engine bans, the growing EV car market, as well as new battery tech coming; gets me wondering 10 years from now where we will be. Battery Compatibility- This power supply inverter only works for Makita 18V lithium batteries, such as BL1815 BL1820B BL1830 BL1830B BL1840 BL1840B BL1850 BL1850B BL1860 etc. You can use the PDC1200, Makita’s ConnextX 1200 Wh portable backpack power supply, or their PDC01, which can be equipped with (4) Makita 18V batteries.Whether you bought into Makita’s cordless systems or not, is this something you would add to your kit? The user interface appears simple, but clear and helpful, with indicators for output wattage, USB, AC, DC, and what seems to be an audible toggle.
